Hello dear Reader!
My first post for the new year won’t be related to interior design but a bit more personal, something I usually don’t tend to do but I owe you an update since I have been away from the web for awhile.
For the first time since 1996, I was in France with my family to celebrate Christmas, it was a lovely time spent with relatives that I otherwise meet just a couple of time every year. Unfortunately the holiday coincided with preparations we had to make for our 2 months long journey back to Australia. I wish I had been more productive on the blog before Christmas, but honestly it was an overwhelming time and having quality time with my relatives was a priority.
We were all excited about the Australia project, however it is not a long holiday for which we only had to pack bathers and sunscreen. We had to plan a bit further as our children have to pursue their school curriculum from home and my husband will work with some research projects.
Anyway, I am now sitting in Melbourne motivating my children to study for a few hours while everyone else is on summer holiday. We are all grateful for this opportunity and I am convinced that the experience will give us a needed boost. We will be back to our Norwegian routines in March.
Of course I will still post about inspirational spaces during this journey in Australia. I have to find a way to organise my work and my days without access to the devices or facilities that usually surround me. But hey! I am now connected to Internet and everything should go smoothly from now.
I am looking forward a new year with new perspectives and I wish you all a good and healthy year!
PS: I wrote this post from my IPad and I hope that it won't look weird on your browser.
