Hi, sorry for the silence radio! We have been, let's say... disorganized here lately...
Anyway, I continue with the bedroom series, and today, we are talking about adding textiles in your bedroom.
What you are looking for is a personalized, pretty (but not busy), relaxing (but not boring) space.

What you are looking for is a personalized, pretty (but not busy), relaxing (but not boring) space.
Textiles add personality and depth to your room. We are not talking just about curtains but also rugs, bedding, throw, pillows, bedhead, bed skirt, maybe a chair or a bench. There is so many ways to use fabrics in the same room that it may feel a bit overwhelming but so, so exciting!
You should first decide for a colour scheme that you are attracted to. You can achieve a sophisticated look with any palette, but you could end with a dull and boring look too, if you are not aware of varying textures, patterns and scales.
So first, your colour palette:
Neutrals and pastels are often a favourite in the bedroom for their serene vibes. Choose decorative pillows, curtains, rug and throw in different hues, from lighter to darker shades. Mix patterns and textures to give dimension and interest.

Bright, energetics colours.
For a cheerful and full of life space, you might pick up a bright palette. Consider to limit those colours to the bedding or small accessories for a long-term pleasure, but get crazy if you feel for it! Once again, mix patterns, patterns' scales and textures.

So by now, you should get the point: as you pick up textiles with different hues, patterns and textures, try to vary the scale of those patterns.
For example, choose a large print (say a floral), then a medium print (like a geometric or stripes) and a small print or a plain fabric.
