Remember terrazzo flooring? Well it's back and trendy now, I have even read that it may replace the marble trend!
I remember terrazzo: my primary school had the most sad grey terrazzo floors, then my high-school had the most sad green terrazzo floors. My husband's workplace still has the most awful green terrazzo stairs!
I have searched for photos with modern and pretty terrazzo, and they do exist: nicer colour palettes and sometimes it looks like confetti. However, I still find it overwhelming - on large surfaces that is.

So I was happy to find terrazzo items that I actually liked. In a small measure, I could introduce the brought-up to date trend into my home without hating it. I would never ever put something in my home that I don't love, so forget about floors. However I could consider these pieces:
